Hampta Pass Trek starts from Manali And from Manali to Jobri – a small hamlet in Kullu valley. It is a moderate trek of 35km and is preferred by beginners as well as experienced trekkers. The trek will move forward from Jobra by a walk to Chika Basecamp. Chika Basecamp is the starting point of Hampta Pass and you will trek from here to Balu ka Ghera ( also known as Heaps of sand) it is said that brown bear hibernates at Balu ka Ghera in winters. Hampta Pass at 3,600m, the place offers the breathtaking views of the magnificent Dauladhar Ranges. You will cross some amazing wooden bridges and Rani Nallah during the trek.
